Liberty E-911 Center is located inside the West Liberty Police Department at 561
Main Street, West Liberty, KY. The E-911 Center is the primary public safety answering point
in Morgan
County. A total of six telecommunicators provide the dispatching of the
West Liberty Police Department, Morgan County Sheriffs Office, Morgan
County Ambulance Service, Morgan County Rescue Squad and six volunteer
fire departments twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The
E-911 Center uses the InterAct Public Safety Systems Computer Aided
Dispatch (CAD) System, a five window program that allows the
telecommunicator to monitor active calls, units assigned to those calls,
available units, an attendant window that monitors the status of calls
and units, and an interactive map that shows where calls are happening
and what units are dispatched. Also aiding in dispatching is the
Zetron telephone program, which allows the telecommunicator to click on
screen to dial and answer emergency and administrative telephone lines.
