WLPD Assists KSP With Pursuit
On Sunday, April 15th, 2007, at 1601 hours, the Kentucky State Police requested assistance from the West Liberty Police Department with a vehicle pursuit which had ended with the vehicle crashing into a hillside on the west end of Liberty Rd.  West Liberty Police Sergeant Scott Adkins arrived on the scene and detained a passenger while Trooper Donnie McGraw pursued the driver of the vehicle, who had fled on foot.  The fleeing suspect was apprehended and transported to the Morgan County ARH by the Morgan County Ambulance Service.  The arrests were made by the Kentucky State Police.  The accident is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police as well.
