Career Opportunity

The West Liberty Police Department is now testing for Police Officer Recruit.  Applications packets may be picked up at City Hall, 565 Main St., West Liberty, KY between 0800 hrs & 1630 hrs.  Applications will be accepted until 1630 hrs July 31, 2007.

Recruit Applicant must successfully complete the Peace Officer Professional Standards Act (POPS).  Peace Officer Professional Standards dictate what the minimum requirements is for becoming a peace officer in Kentucky.  The law requires applicants to law enforcement agencies in Kentucky to meet 16 pre-employment standards prior to becoming a peace officer in the state.
