| West Liberty Police Sgt. Scott Adkins and
Patrolman Paul Perkins went to Red River Gorge last Thursday to assist
the United States Forest Service with training. The training,
Control Tactics Training, is designed to place law enforcement officers
in dangerous and unusual shooting scenarios. Among the scenarios
was an active shooter scenario, hostage situation scenario, felony
traffic stop scenarios with handcuffing and search procedures, and
tracking a possible felony suspect into a precarious environment. |
