Phone Scam Alert!!
The West Liberty Police Department has received information that some citizens
in
Morgan
County
have received phone solicitations. These unidentified individuals have
contacted citizens alleging that they are soliciting monies for Christmas
presents for under privileged children and for the purchase of ballistic vests.
The West Liberty Police Department is not associated with this. If you are
contacted with what you believe to be a fraudulent phone solicitation you are
asked to contact your law enforcement agency of jurisdiction.
