Sheldon Robert Perry, West Liberty’s newest
Police Officer, was sworn in by Mayor Robert “Bob” Nickell Thursday
November 15th 2007. His parents are Melinda and Ivan
Perry of Elkfork, KY. Mr.
Perry was a graduate of
the 2007 class of Morgan
County
High School. After graduating from high school Mr. Perry enlisted
in the United States Army as an Armor Crewman (tanker), and during his
military career he served two years in
Iraq
. In late 2006 he left the Army with an Honorable Discharge.
Mr. Perry worked as a Youth Worker in
Elizabethtown
,
Kentucky
for the Department of Juvenile Justice until coming to work for
the City of West Liberty
