Liberty Police Department designates Senior Telecommunicator Jackie W Mayberry
as the Department’s Marijuana Technician.
The West Liberty Police Department is now able to expedite marijuana evidence
identification. The Department recognizes the need for timely identification of
marijuana for our court cases; timeliness of identification allows for quicker
resolution in court proceedings. This also helps to alleviate a backlog of
marijuana related cases. Senior Telecommunicator Jackie Mayberry has been
selected as our Marijuana Technician. Mayberry received his designation
after being certified as a marijuana
identification analyst by attending a course at the Department of Criminal
Justice Training in
Richmond
,
KY.
This course was taught in conjunction with the Eastern Kentucky
University Forensic Science Dept., the Kentucky State Police Central Crime
Laboratory, and DOCJT.
Senior
Telecommunicator Mayberry has been employed as a Telecommunicator by the
Police Department for eight years and is a graduate of
Morgan
County
High school
and The Department of Criminal Justice Training Telecommunications Academy.
Jackie is married to Amber Conley Mayberry. They have a beautiful 14 month old
daughter Seirra Mayberry and reside in
West Liberty
.
