· The West Liberty Police Department will conduct safety checkpoints in addition to moving patrols during the month of May and the remainder of 2011.

	A Smith and Wesson Model 638 Stainless Steel .38 cal revolver was stolen Saturday 05/14/11 out of a black and gray1988 Ford pickup parked at Index IGA or Dollar General Store Parking lot around 3 pm. Anyone with knowledge of this crime or that saw anything suspicious is asked to contact WLPD.
